Medium Humming Bird and Mushroom on Parasite Wood Carving
These beautiful Parasite wood Humming Bird statues have been personally hand carved for Hadiah UK. The Humming Bird carvings are so wonderfully detailed, especially considering they have been carved using only basic hand tools, and not using conventional power tools.
These Humming Birds have been created using a tropical wood known as Parasite wood. It gets its name from a parasite that causes the wood to deform into mushroom like growths. The growths are then cut away to leave the most awesome naturally created shapes.
